Japanese election tomorrow. Exciting, but whichever party wins I hope they have the sense and humility to realise that without God`s help they will totally fail to lift us out of the mess we are in...

Ridiculed

People often make fun of Christians, both in the West and in Japan. They can have their fun for now but as a worldview it doesn`t have much shelflife.
We are spared the worst, really. In many countries people are still murdered because of Jesus.

Unified

Been to several different churches recently. It breaks my heart that Christians from different backgrounds mistrust each other but I am guilty of that myself all too often. The Anglican tradition I was baptised and confirmed into stresses tolerance highly but is far from perfect in itself. But we do all agree on the most important things, like the fact that Jesus is alive.
